Cartoon Nails

I was thinking long and hard about this challenge. It was time for the next plate in our Cheeky Girl Challenge. Plate CH47.  And then I was sent a link to some cartoon nails. I know I had to try, and felt like this would look good together.
In my head it did.
I have no idea why it didn't look as good on my nails as it did in my head.

I think I got the cartoon nails - alright.

As for the plate... The image wouldn't go on crisp. It was a failed rescue attempt.

China Glaze - Marry a Millionaire

China Glaze - Marry a Millionaire.
It was about time I wore this polish. Oh my oh my. I am blinded by the sparkles.  It has a mix of small, round, light lavender glitter plus fine stringy/bar glitter in a gold/green/blue multichrome color, and some dark purple glitter I think ...

My blogging has been really random lately, but I am trying to pull myself back into it.
As they say in Britain, [watch this space].

Happy polishing!

Splosh Splash

For the next Cheeky Girl Challenge, we got CH46. This cosmic plate got a twist on it this time.
I had a fantastic idea, I'm not so sure about the execution of it, but ... All is fair in love and nail art?

I wanted a dark background and so a gradient stamping, using a white and a yellow, letting the stamp on each nail, get more and more towards the yellow.
Sadly, the yellow didn't stamp well.

I used: Miss Sporty - 453
So if you ever wondered .. well ... here is the result.

Head over here, to see what Mishka from Lacquer or Leave Her! did with the design.
