OMG Indie Nail Mail

I came back home after a shopping trip, and found not one, but two packaged in my mail.
I ran up all the stairs, which is a lot of steps, since I live on the 5th floor.
Hastily threw my bag on the floor, snapped my camera, and opened the packaging.

Weeeeeee!!!

One from Cult Nails, and from a girl I bought some polishes from on a nail-forum. 

Lets take a look at what I got from Cult Nails.

And what did I get from my little forum-haul?

She gifted the rhinestones you see at the top, and assorted fimo-sticks. I cant wait to try that!
And look at the indies!! My firsts!

I am so happy now.

Decluttered the collection

I have been shopping for small containers for my rhinestones, and fimo-sticks, and striping tape. 

And this what I found.

I bought it all on "Søstrene Grenes" in Oslo. The containers where around £ 2-3 each. 

If you got some ideas on how to keep storing as the collection grow bigger, please send them to me. 

Happy Birthday Nails

My Father-in-law is turning 65! So I had to make some special nail art for the occasion. 

Bobbing for Baubles from ESSIE as a base. Its dark blue, leaning towards being black in some light. 

The nails says; " Happy Birthday" in Norwegian. 

And a tiny firework burst on the little finger there.

Mishka from Lacquer or Leave Her! and I, wanted to do a twin-post, with World Of Warcraft as our theme. We have been sending mile-long mails to each other, for a while now, and the idea of doing some twin-posts where born. Mishka is an amazing girl, she is really kind and just as much as a geek as myself. <3

I decided to do a tribute to my awesome guild. I have been the leader for the guild, almost 2 years now, and I truly love them. I am going to visit some of the officers and members when I go to the UK in September. 

I started out with YSL - Bleu Majorelle. It is the closest blue I have to Stormwind-blue. Its a nice cobolt blue, but it smells terrible. Urgh. I also used Midnight Kiss from China Glaze and a white striping brush/pen.

The only brands I have seen in norway have been limited to EU brands (isadora, depend, H&M), ESSIE and OPI. Today I found this at Steen & Strøm

FNUG - Bandana dressed-up

 Today I have another FNUG - Bandana mani for you.
I have fallen in love with this beauty.

For this mani I used:
White Striper with shimmer
FNUG - Bandana
Gold and Silver - hex rhinestones.

I got the hexes in a set I bought from Bundlemonster. (link to BM, and the set I purchased)
The striper I got from Ebay in a set with 60 others. (link to the blog post I made about the stripers)

I started out with two coats of Bandana, and then made a cross on each nail. I added a silver hex in the middle of the cross, and gold on opposite side.

A Trophy Wife`s dance in the Indian Ocean

So lets try layering this baby with something else. 

How about Indian Ocean I did over naked nails a few days back? 

Here is Indian Ocean on its own..

I did one coat over Trophy Wife.

I kept the ring finger, so that you could see the difference side by side.

As you can see, it made it lighter in shade, and gave it extra sparkles
