China Glaze - Exotic Encounters

Today I have a swatch of Exotic Encounters to share with you.
I saw it on a blog almost a month ago, and I just HAD to get it.  It was the swatch by The Lacquered Lady, that brought it to my attention.
See her post about it, here.

I love it, and I am so happy that I have it in my collection.

Time for Reflection over Tristam

Good morning everyone.
Its time to do some nail art.

Last night I swatched A England - Tristam.

Its sooooo Pretty.
If you don't want to see me totally transform this polish, into something else, don't read any further. There might be tears.

I grabbed my Time for Reflection -  Essence, and did one coat over Tristam.

Wow! No trace of Tristam left. Totally transformed. Do you like it?

I did some nail art over it, I`m not a fan of how it turned out, but here it is anyway. Who knows, you might like it.

I sponged using Mystic Mauve - Models Own. Then I stamped with BM plate 316, in WnW Black Creme.
It might have looked better without the coat of Time for Reflection - Essence.

Misa - A Sin Worth Committing

Today I have another swatch for you. Its "A Sin Worth Committing". A lovely glossy blue.
Its so pretty. I just love this blue.

It covers well, and this is two coats.

A Wizards Hat - mani

I needed a mani fit for my 2 month blogiversary, so I decided to go for some Disney. Cause we all love Disney, right?

Todays inspiration was Mickey Mouse Wizards Hat.

Dark blue with stars on it. When light hits it, you can see some glitter to the blue. Or that's how I remember it atleast.

For this mani I used Misa - A Sin Worth Committing, China Glaze - Luxe and Lush, and star shaped rhinestones in blue. So here are the steps:

FNUG - Clogs

Hello everyone!

Today I have had the blog for 2 - months! So its my 2 months blogiversary!

I wanted to show you a swatch of Clogs, one of the FNUG polishes I won last month.
I have been trying to describe this shade as good as possible, and I think its pretty spot on to call it a dark mahogany shade with red undertones. Feel free to correct me on that, if you have a better description.

Look at the bottle there, isn't it amazing how darker it is on the nails? It looks almost like a scarlet shade at the top of the bottle there.

Chocolate Candies - manicure

This manicure I created last night.

Hubby called these nails for Chocolate Candy. And so, that was what the post, and mani was going to be called. I didn't have an idea when I started, I just wanted to try some striping tape.

I choose a striping tape that was metallic, with shimmer in it. After a days wear the metallic finish is gone, but it still has some golden shimmer in it left, and it had the look of sun-faded-red. Kinda lifeless. Urgh. Going to try another topcoat next time, Out The Door, didn't do the job.

I started out with two coats of Clogs from FNUG.
Clogs is a plum shade leaning towards dark brown. In some lightsettings it looks more plum, than others. I will try to do a swatch of it, to see if I can capture it.
I`m glad I`m planning on redoing my nails today anyway.
