Innsifree - 84

This post has been stuck in my Draft folder for far too long. I wrote the post, and had the pictures and every thing done, but forgotten completely to press "publish". So here it is, the last of my four Innisfree polishes.

This is one of four "Yoghurt" inspired nail polishes from the Innisfree line. Innisfree is a vegan polish, has a pleasant scent, nothing to overpowering. It comes in a milky base with glitters and have a lasting hold. Easy to use, the glitters glides on well. Only reason why I haven't used them since I bought them (almost a year ago), is because of the removal of glitters, it's just not worth it having to soak my nails in acetone and kill my already dry cuticles. So when I got my PVA glue and started using that as a base for glitters, well, needless say, I felt the urge of using these gorgeous polishes ago.

Innisfree - 84.
Milky blue base with blue and pink hex glitters.
I also added a couple larger blue hex glitters to this manicure to create more depth in the polish and make it stand out more.

To finish it all off, I added a butterfly to each nail. The fimo butterflies came from a set I bought at the 99 p store here in UK.

My ship is loaded with Kiwi

I fancied using some of my fimos today, and grabbed them all and spread them out on my table.
I have a few. Last year I was given some fimo stick by a girl I bought some polishes off. One of the sticks have a kiwi image on, so I decided to use that.

Not long ago I purchased Accessorize - Dragonfly. Mishka from Lacquer Or Leave Her! wanted me to swatch this one first, so here it is.
A milky green polish packed with small round blue glitters. I used three coats of it, and left the long finger for an accent. For the accent I used Sinful Colors - Exotic Green, and I then added three slices of kiwi on top.

A note to be made. This polish; Dragonfly .. it's a bugger to get of, it might just be my basecoat or just my nails or whatever, but I was really struggling with removal here. But look at it! It's a stunner. So worth it!

Maybelline - Chalkdust over City Khakis

Happy Blogiversary! My blog is 1 year old now.
Hurrah.

To celebrate I got myself a new nail polish. Maybelline recently launched the polka-dot collection, I picked up Chalkdust and Shooting Star.

First swatch over a holo blue, one coat.
I have forever wanted a polish like Sticks and Stones, and this polish is stilling my lemming. I LOVE it.
I needed this in my life.

First I painted my nails in IsaDora - City Khaki, its a nice shimmering grey colour. Then I added two coat of Maybelline - Chalkdust  on all the nails except for my index finger. On the index finger I finished it off with a fimo sliced heart is white, grey and black.

I instantly fell in love with this manicure.

Mini Birthday Haul

I have been on a mini haul for some new nail stuff for my upcoming birthday. Didn't buy much, just a few things.

I have restocked on Lemony Flutter from Lush, and a new pot of Burt's Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream.
My local Boots has gotten a Sinful Colors rack and I picked up these four beauties.

Kissy, Courtney Orange, Pink Forever, Exotic Green.

I have been wanting studs for a while, and I found some at my local Claire's.
They had a wheel with some black, silver and golden studs. I can't wait to try these out!
Finally I get myself some studs.

I feel like getting a Grunge-outfit and get all dressed up.

I wandered in a Bodycare shop and found this wheel with different heart fimos. There where also some bows in there. Happy me! I want to get hold of more bows for nailart. if you got a tips on where to buy them, etc on Ebay, send me a link down below.

I also found some nail art stack pots at New Look, they where £1.99 (2.50 euro).

I'm looking forward to my birthday. I'm gonna be a quarter of a century soon. Eek! It's a bit scary, but I'll get over it. From now on, I'm definitely no longer a child.  The big 25. Wish me luck.

Strawberry Daiquiri - Nail Art

By layering Strawberry Daiquiri from MakeupMekka, and Sunny Pink - Mac Factor I created this manicure, to lighten up my mood.
It's been a rough few days lately. Trying to find your roots in another country is not like a walk in the garden picking berries. It's hard. I don't know many people here, and a rather shy person. And the people I do know ... well, it seems like I have had a tendency to alienate people more than making new friends lately.
One step back, look at what I am doing. Up again, and let's try another approach.

It all starts with a manicure that will cheer you up.

OPI - Live And Let Die

I am on a green nail polish roll here. The next polish I wanted to show you from my green box, is OPI - Live And Let Die. I really love this. It's a one coater, and dries quick, and is just gorgeous.

Live and Let Die is from OPI’s Skyfall 007 collection, and was the only polish in the collection that caught my eyes. It's a blackened green with golden shimmer.

OMG Indie Nail Mail

I came back home after a shopping trip, and found not one, but two packaged in my mail.
I ran up all the stairs, which is a lot of steps, since I live on the 5th floor.
Hastily threw my bag on the floor, snapped my camera, and opened the packaging.

Weeeeeee!!!

One from Cult Nails, and from a girl I bought some polishes from on a nail-forum.

Lets take a look at what I got from Cult Nails.

Enigmatic

I am looking forward to use these two babes.

And what did I get from my little forum-haul?

She gifted the rhinestones you see at the top, and assorted fimo-sticks. I cant wait to try that!
And look at the indies!! My firsts!

I am so happy now.
