A England - Lady Of The Lake

Hello girls. Today I have another A England swatch for you.
Its Lady Of The Lake.

I love the story of The Lady in the lake, and just had to have this polish, since it is also a purple. And I felt the need of adding more purple to my collection.

Until next time, what do you think?

Make Up Store - Vanja

As you saw in my latest haul post, I purchased two Make Up Store - polishes.
And I have a swatch for you.

I bought this cause I love purples, and I don't have that many shades of purple. Before this one, I had Lilacism from ESSIE, which is a pastel, and Lilac Lace from MaxFactor, that I have worn a lot. As you understand, I was in dire need of more.

This shade is killing me with awesomeness.
Vanja is a deep purple with red undertones. In some light-settings it looks like there is some blue in this as well.

I snatched it at sale 40% off, in a store, but you can get them online, over here. <- link to online store.

Misa - Forbidden Lust

I bought three Misa shades from a forum-buddy of mine. Here is the first I just HAD to try. It was asking to be worn. Seriously.

This is one coat. So pretty! I think this will look very good with black french tips, or worn alone, like this. its so pretty.

178 - Forbidden Lust is from the 2008 Poisoned Passion Collection, a shimmer-y purple.

Guest post - Katie (Missy's Mani's)

Hi everyone!

Dina is away visiting her father this weekend and so I stepped in to do a guest post for her! Dina is such a lovely girl and I love how creative her nail art is and so I'm really pleased to be doing this for her :)

I decided to go with a nice floral design for this post as personally I don't think you can beat a lovely floral manicure!

I started out with a base colour of Boots no7 - Vivid violet and sponged on both Sinful colors - Daddy's girl and Rimmel - Disco ball to the top left and bottom right areas of my nail.

Then I topped it off with Seche vite and created the flowers and details with acrylic paint and added another layer of Seche vite.

I'm loving how this turned out as I literally just added to it as I went along. I like how the white flowers pop against the dark purple background.

I hope you've all enjoyed this post, I've really enjoyed putting it together :)

Thanks for looking!

Lilacism with Lilac Lace

Today I did another French. This time I used two of my purple shades.
ESSIE - Lilacism (ringfinger and tips), and Glossfinity from Max Factor - Lilac Lace.

This picture looks pretty spot on when it comes to colours.
Lilacism is a pastel, and even thou Lilac Lace looks matte in the bottle it tries glossy.
Since my ringfinger is shorter than the others ( I broke the tip, at work), I decided to make that finger an accent. Using silver teardrops rhinestones in the shape of a flower.

It was hard to capture it on the camera, I must have tried like a 100 times, but I did end up with a few pictures that would show of the colours to these two polishes.

Im thinking about stamping them, what do you think?

EDIT:
