MSMD Fishtail nail art


For my Monkey See Monkey Do - Monday I wanted to recreate Lucys Stash - Fishtail nail art.
I didnt have Models Own Lilac Dream, but I do have Lilacism from ESSIE. Pairing it with Turquoise & Caicos from ESSIE, and H&M - Metallic Grey.

Franken This!

Hi everyone. Today I have a special blogpost, I just made my own polish. *pic-spam*







So to make this I used some leftovers from a clear polish, I don't think its made anymore, its Nivea - 01 Crystal.  My first polish, and I got it when I was 8, and found it in a park.
Then I mixed in a mini bottle (0.1 fl oz/3.2 ml) from H&M  in Blue (36681), used some more clear polish to get all the blue out of the mini bottle. 1.6 ml, to be exact.  Then I finished off with 1.5 ml Essence nail art topper - 05 night in Vegas, and 1.5 ml Essence nail art special effect topper - 05 time for reflection.
Hope I didn't go all to technical on you.

Summer Challenge - Retro/Summer of Love/ Hippie

Hi, its saturday, and its time for some nail art, todays theme, in the Summer Challenge is Retro/Summer of Love/ Hippie. This is my take on it.



For this mani I printed out and resized the logo on Summer Of Love, so that it would somewhat fit my nails. This was the first time I tried transfering images from ordinary paper with alcohol. I just dipped the image in some vodka, and pressed it to my nails.
For my pinky I used H&M - Lime, and added a flower to the base.

Summer Challenge - Ladybirds


As todays challenge, we where going to make Ladybird / Ladybug. So here is my take on the challenge.

For this mani I used NYX Matte - Red, Wet n Wild - Creme Black and Depend - French White ( for the eyes). I finished this mani pretty late so I missed the sun, will see if I can get a better picture with some sunlight tomorrow morning.

Triangle purple tips over blue

I smudged one of my fingers when I was looking for the camera..


Here I used NYX Matte - Teal as a base, and tipped it with H&M - Purple.
I think my H&M - Purple could do good with a thinner, it was the best to handle when making this mani. Making the arrows all uneven.

I saw this mani in a magazine, just with other colours, and wanted to do one as well.

Cupcakes Nail Art


For this mani I used a dotting tool, a Warhammer pencil, for the base of the cupcake ( stole it from my boyfriend ), French White from H&M,  NYX Matte Baby Pink, ESSIE -  Little Brown Dress, and a rhinestone from the BM -set I just got.

I didn't want all my nails to have cupcakes on them, so I left the thumb and pinky painted in ESSIE - Little Brown Dress.

Would you ever wear cupcakes on your nails?

Hot Pink - Summer Challenge






For this mani I used H&M - Pink, and Essence nail art special effect topper - 05 Time For Reflection.
Time For Reflection makes your polish look like chrome. 

Update: Took some new pictures as soon as the sun came out, and look at these! Stunning.
